Two Tone battery box

Thought you guys might like to take a look at this. A lot of guys are converting their AC powered units to a 12v power supply. One of the pioneers of this to my understanding is a gentleman named Gary Dodd of Dodd audio. On another forum I was commisioned to build a couple of "Classie enclousers" to house the 12v battery and charger. Turned out pretty nice. The ones im showing here dont have the carpet spikes on them but once they were installed they were realy the schiznit. R.K.

















Both are made of Curley Maple and Ribbon Sapele finished w/ 4 coats of conversion varnish hope this is in the right part of the forum per previous discussions. Thanks R.K.

Really nice design, choice of materials, and obviously expert construction. Those dovetails are flawless. Note to self: Don't argue with Randall about woodworking. I'm curious about the function of the units though. Are those batteries connected to inverters?
