What subs do I have?
Does anyone have any info on these? I contacted MTX and they can't tell me anything. All I know is that they are 8 ohm, 3" v.c, heavy and built like a tank. The only markings that were on there cardboard boxes was "SUB-12" "Designed for custom cinema installations" and there are some numbers on the magnet under the rubber cover:
12XF 1156 8 ohm
557 9505
Anything will be helpful. THX

Re: What subs do I have?
I know MTX makes alot of junk but I put these in a couple of ported 2.5 cu.ft. 30 yr old CV boxes and they sound better than my 12" dayton HFs! I was just curious if anyone on here ever seen a pair of these.

You'll have to find someone with a Woofer Tester to figure out how to use them. I found nothing relevant on Google.
