Default Help needed to get zma files from Speaker Workshop into PCD

    Hi guys,
I can't afford a WT3 right now so I'm using Speaker workshop. However the zma files I export don't work anywhere else. I opened them in Excel just fine. I think the problem is that they have over 3000 data points. I could use spl copy on a screen shot... But that sounds very time consuming. Any ideas? Has any one done this before? Is there other freeware that can measure impedance?

    Thank you,
    Duane

one easy way is to use vlookup in excel

make a column of frequency points you want, then vlookup the points from speakerworkshop to "fit" them to the smaller set of points..

OpenOffice (free) can easily plot 3000 data points, and then SplCopy can easily produce a zma file that PCD can use.

    Thanks guys,
I don't know enough to do what you guys told me. So I took the easy way out: Snipped the Impedance graph in Speaker Workshop. Used SPL copy. Done

no phase this way so I used response modeler to get min. phase.

    Thank you,
    Duane

That will work too, but it's a few steps. Can you change the sampling in Speakerworkshop and end up with smaller files?

I don't know how. And I found that my results are off in Speaker Workshop.
