15 tc sounds 3000 d2

I just got a tc sounds 3000. Ive built many boxes before but never with a passive radiator. Im wanting to make a box for the sub using passive radiators to get the most out of my power. I really want it so get loud with out falling off hard on the low end around 25 hz any box ideas or previous expirience with this sub and passive radiator would be great i need help box dimmension port area sq feet ect please help me thanks!

Well, I can tell you that I don't think you'll be needing a port with a PR (right?).

The sub I built used a 12 TC-1K and a 15" TC Sound PR. This was years ago - and I relied on the knowledge of other to make it work.

You can read that very old thread HERE. May contain some useful info.

The sub modeling softwares should have the ability to incorporate the PR into the model. I know that Bassbox Pro does, and I assume the others would to, but I can't say for sure.

If you're going to use PRs, then you'll likely want TWO of the 15" versions, or a single 18", since that woofer has copious amounts of available displacement.
