Waveguide Neo3?

I've seen small roundovers, etc. But has anyone tried a front and rear "sandwich" WG around a neo3? Wouldn't you think it would help bump the low end extension in dipole for easier crossing?

Next question that might need another thread for attention is that I have a measurement mic, computer, etc in my system. What all do I need to finish a measuring system? I use the mic for the active EQ right now if that is your "why do you have all that?" question.

WOW! exactly my idea, but I want to go much shallower to keep it all on my baffle. That 1K is very attractive though! Heck, there are even a slew of 8" drivers that will play up to that even though I'm looking a pro drivers that should play up to most tweeters anyway.

In the waveguide linked, there is a top and bottom plate. With the Neo3 there is very limited vertical dispersion. How important are the top and bottom plate in the waveguide here? Also, I'm not following his scale. He states 20cm X2 and there are markers on the diagram, but they do not add up to me unless I'm missing something. Any ideas for actual scale?
