    Default Woofer & "vd" comparisons

When looking at the T/S parameters of drivers, how much of an indication of low bass notes does comparing the "vd" provide?

Example is the Eminence Kappalite 3015 (15" woofer) has a "vd" of 846cc.
The Peavey 1808-8 HE BWX 18" subwoofer has a "vd" of 483cc.

Granted the useable low end of the 3015 is listed as 40hz, and the Peavy is 35hz, is this saying that the Kappalite 3015 will move 363cc more air than the Peavy 18"? Is this translated into deeper percieved bass tones or more bass impact that is felt?

Response is not affected by Vd, only output.

Thanks Bill. After I typed the post, the lightbulb lit up in my head..duh!!! lol.
So "output" could be considered as the loudness of the bass per given freqnency? In layman's terms, you would feel the bass of the Kappalite more than the Peavey (reproducing the same frequency of course..say 50-70hz)?

Model them both, look at the Max SPL charts.
