Default Behringer cooking up their own piezo's

I had a call from a buddy that runs a local venue/bar at like 6pm tonight "Do you have any 12" woofers you could sell me". Turns out it was for the cheapest possible behringer monitor wedge. I sold him an equally cheap woofer I had sitting around. Turned out to be a lot better than the woofer that was in the behringer, no wondering it got fried only getting 200 watts at the most.

Anyways I found it interesting that in this floor monitor Behringer is cooking up their own dual element piezo's. Take a look

    How cute

Sometimes I wonder what the point of even selling speakers this poor is. Not necessarily the piezo, but the woofer in this speaker looked to be about 100 watts RMS at the most.

When he tried to put the screws back in the woofer the t-nuts fell out LOL. (That's why I always glue them in). The cabinet appeared to be made out of a new type of material I'd call "flake board". It wasn't osb and it wasn't particle board, it looked to be a lot worse, more like cardboard. Possibly a very very loosely packed OSB. I wouldn't be surprised if behringer is cooking that up themselves too over there in 'Behringer City'.

If they really kicked you wouldn't need twelve of them.
