    I don't know what mH value one wd get with 10 metres /1.2mm of wire but seems like an interesting possibility to make a quality inductor at a cheap price (ie uk prices are silly)

    you could get 2, 0.07-0.08mH inductors!

    inductors that big require cores to get a reasonable DCR

    with 50m of that wire, on a 50mm core, about 19mm long, with ~210 turns, you would have a 3mH inductor with dcr of just under 0.8 ohms

    I dont think that wire is insulated as the 1st responder suggested. Its going to be a dead short and wont do anything for you if its not insulated!

    You would be better off just buying a spool of enameled wire from someplace like Digi-key. get any size you need too.
