Default Stentorians Part Duex: With apologies to Pete Schumacher

For some reason I really struggled with the name for this design. As it came down to the wire, I asked PE for suggestions, and Stentorian was the end result.

I was made aware just today that Pete also had a Stentorian speaker design five years ago, which didn't come up in our original search. (There was another Stentorian speaker back in the '50's, but I was pretty sure we wouldn't mix those up.)

So, my apologies Pete, for stealing, however inadvertently, your speaker name. While it’s too late to correct the flyer, (I'm told it mailed out yesterday.) I can certainly correct it on my website, and any further documentation here on the forums.

... But I still have a quandary... -Still no name for it...

Anyone have any nom de plume suggestions? It deserves more than "That speaker formally known as Stentorian".

How about "The Stents". The tagline can be something like, "Gets your blood pumping!" in reference to their cardiovascular function in the medical world. Too much of a stretch?

    Curt,

For a short term name "on loan to James for his GTG". For a long term name "door prize winner of the GTG". Just kidding of coarse.

Do you have any details on them? As you know I am biased with yours and Waynes designs since that is all I own so I am sure these will be very nice also.

Found the thread critofur tarted for details.

What got me interested in the NS6 drivers was their use in the $2500 Green Mountain speaker. On that basis, this design is about $15,000 for the pair.
The Roman Numeral calculator says that is: "MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM".

Due to their statuesque look, and commanding presence, how about The Sentinels?

The names suggested by greywarden and ckmoore are both great, IMHO.

Well- I can mark "Sentinels" off the list in my tentative names word-doc....

Don't know that I've cooked up anything to use it with yet. So- not taken by me, but entertained by me.

    "Integers" comes to mind....

How about: "En Masse"? "Alle-Vier-Einz"? "Voluminous"?
