And the little brother, too. That is a very quick response to a supply change. They look better, too.

That was quick! I'm thinking that they are going to have a difficult time selling off the Neo models now that these are out . . . at least at their current prices.

    Sweet Action!

Perhaps that project will get off the ground again... couldn't justify it with the Neo price hikes.

The frame on the original was a flimsy piece of junk, too. Helps keep the price down, I'm sure. Works well enough, I suppose.

Thank goodness they're bringing these back. These subs are very unique--especially the 5". There's just nothing else out there that can do what it does. It'll be very exciting to see this re-issue so I can get back to work on my mini 3-way.

i'd love the 5 or 6" for a bottom of a small 3-way... got a pair of dome mids still to be used.

To me those things just scream to be used in an array--like an additional low end driver on the CBT. You could call it the 3BT.

Yes! I hope the performance is as good, or better, than the neo's. The published specs look very similiar. If it is I'm sure PE will sell these things like hotcakes and I'll be able to make that sub my son has been asking for to put in his room. (Mom will be so happy!)

I love that they added an 8" to the line up but I'm curious as to why it's almost double the price of the 6.5". I'll keep my fingers crossed that there is a DOTD on the 8" so I can give it a try.

Cool. Looks like the 8" would smoke the cheaper W8-740P in low end extension, and looks are better without the dome of a dust cap. The 1363SBF, 0.8 cuft tuned 22-25Hz, 240W plate and a hefty HPF looks like it'd be an impressive combo for an 8" sub. Tuned below fs, though...

May be time to revise the Schticks when that 5" becomes available.

Just what I need, another project...still 100+ degrees here. Two seasons in AZ, summer & January.

Hi Lou, I periodically used to look at the Schticks as a potential build. That is until the W5 went up in price. It appears, specs wise, that all that may be needed is a little more room inside the cabinet to compensate for the magnet(?).

I already looked into it. These actually can go in a slightly smaller box but will need a longer port. Like I said, it'll go into the queue...

I'll have to pick up one of the 6.5 if it goes DOTD.
