OT - This is pathetic....
Heard a commercial for this while driving home late last night. I think it was right after an ad for some herbal male enhancement supplement.

The parallels between products like that and high-end audio snake oil are scary.

When I looked at the web site, I noticed that the Store was functioning fine, while the about us, contact us, and Management Team pages were "file not found"...
Increases MPG by 25%??? I think that is really only possible if this helps the driver go from being a lead foot, to someone who is economical on gas, e.g. by training them to accelerate more lightly and coast more, etc. There is no way a little plug in thingy actually modifies the vehicle's fuel consumption or efficiency, you can only modify the driver!

ROFL.
I clicked the info page to see "how it works" or read the "3rd party tests" but none of those pages go anywhere, they just return a 404. But boy does the page where you can buy it sure work...

Better Business Bureau "A" rating. That about does it for me and the BBB.

"ground breaking technology" could mean some of the components are derived from materials that come from mines or the bottom of a drilled shaft...

That comes as no shock, they share the same customer base, maybe not in the income department but certainly in the gullibility department.

BBB is concerned with a companies business practices, as in filling orders promptly, as opposed to leaving customers hanging. Whether or not the product sold works isn't really their bailiwick. That's up to the FTC and the Attorney General of the state where the business sells out of.

Yeah, but at least "Smilin' Bob" pills have a chance at some placebo effects. Hey maybe these guys will wind up with the same prison sentence..

Lou, you just made my day! This guy probably came up with the idea for the scam when he discovered that he had a problem in the bedroom. I just love it when a dirtbag like this gets kicked in the nads...metaphorically speaking, of course!

Re: OT - This is pathetic....
I'm a big proponent of "caveat emptor". Been fleeced a time or two myself. Blamed myself for being gullible. Frankly, most of the people these hucksters con, had a choice -- they gave the guy their money in the first place. My only experience with identity theft came through FleaBay. Another reason I avoid that place. I'll pay a few bucks more and deal with P.E. or somebody I trust.
The "automatic refill" is probably the biggest thing I'd object to. I remember trying to "unsubscribe" from AOL awhile back. I wound up getting a new CC number, and hours on the phone with my CC company filing fraud claims. I won't accept any offer for "free" anything if I have to simply "cancel" down the road.
If he was a TV preacher selling redemption he'd probably be untouchable. Or selling "alternative" cancer cures...
It amazes me how many people have pushed some herbal remedy, chelation, or other voodoo variants on me since I was diagnosed with the Big C.
No thank you. I'll take the leading edge genetic scientists who are now working with my complete human genome map. Thanks Dr. Mike
Rant over. "Let's be careful out there." Especially with our $$$.
