Default Is there a component that does this?

I have three of the Pyle Pro PT610, each of which have a mono in/out loop for an EQ, etc. Each of these units is powering a separate third of a large ballroom that can be divided into three equal parts or two unequal parts by large folding curtains. Each room has a wall-plate with a mic input that connects to that room's amp back in the equipment closet. The client would like the ability to have either room A or room C combine with room B, in case the room is divided into one larger and one smaller room, or run all three independently or together as a single large room. The old system that was replaced had some TOA amps (900 MK II or something like that) that, using a single phono jack on the back and a jimmy-rigged switch panel made of a plate of metal and some Radio Shack switches. Is there a component or combination of components that can give me this kind of flexibility? The less-expensive the better. Thanks for any suggestions...

Unfortunately I've encountered these custom jobs before and they can be hard to decipher.
From what i gather you need a matrix switch that allows multiple audio inputs and has multiple assignable outputs.
If this is so a manual hardware panel could be fabricated ( similar in concept to an old telephone plug panel.
A more modern solution is an audio matrix switcher in this case with 3 assignable outputs

a speaker management device would handle this too, right?

or maybe a small 4 bus mixer where you pan one of the channels to either bus as needed?

The Radio Design Labs RCX room combining system looks like it does what you want.
