Default Please Help: OS MTM left with weak bass and volume

I need some advice. My OS MTM left is does not have the bass or the volume that the right does.

It plays just not at the same level. Listening to them together it is not that apparent. I though that maybe I needed a little more stuffing. It was adding that I realized the right had oomph and the left did not. I disassembled the speaker to examine the crossover and did not do a thorough polarity check to each terminal, however I was very careful on install and a cross did not jump out at me when pulling the crossover.

I checked to see if it was the amp by attaching the left speaker wire to the right speaker. The performance of the left channel is fine.

Also both of the BN4s on the left were working.

Update: I fixed this it must have been a polarity cross. So much for being careful.

Possibly you have one of the woofers wired backwards in the weak one. NVM.

I'm thinking the polarity is flipped on one of the woofers on the left side. You may need to check the polarity of the woofers with a battery (I recommend AA or AAA) and a bit of wire. Disconnect the woofers from the crossover, then individually hook them up to the battery.

Yes but you could also have a bad solder joint. Check that the drivers are in phase first. You may also need to check to make sure the + and - are labeled correctly on the drivers if it appears that you hooked them up in correct phase. If you place a AA battery accross the speaker terminals in the same way (+to+ and -to-) then you should get cone movement in the same direction on each driver. If they move in opposite ways they were labeled incorrectly.

edit--whoops didn't see the last reply.
