You've taken every effort to hide their condition, even posting nonworking "pictures". You said when you received them that they weren't worth using and people should buy new. Now that you want to sell, your story is updated to "they'll be fine downfiring".

How would you or anyone else know what this guy paid, aside from him and the seller. I would imagine he's referring to his "cost". Product price plus shipping... If he's trying to recoup his cost and that's what it was, then so be it...where's the problem?
I agree full disclosure on the products is great policy to go with when listing an item. That said, not everyone lists all details about their items, even though its the probably the best way to do it. You either spend a little more time detailing your FS ad, or even more time responding to the same questions from multiple buyers over and over. I appreciate the efforts to help avoid any scams, but I think you're jumping the gun a bit.

Would you consider it dishonest if you met a woman and got married expecting to have kids and told her of this desire, only to find out later that she was previously a man and unable to? He bought them, complained of poor quality, which he chose to hide, and was looking for some other sucker to bail him out of getting shafted, by shafting them. A couple words would have sufficed "Not as-new but usable" to let people know that they should ask some more questions. Instead, we get no pics, no disclosure until someone else called him on it.

Because he complained that they were not nearly as nice as new... then tries to pull the same exact scam on the next person.

Given the lack of EASY disclosure until called on it, and that he still hasn't posted pics, you should appreciate that some people are aggressive enough on these things to make sure that the next guy DOESN'T get scammed. This guy is like a used car salesman who doesn't tell you the transmission is bad.

I did feel bad for Jimmy...until witnessing his efforts to re-sell these drivers with less than full disclosure. So without further ado, and in his own words.

These are not really in what I would call "great condition."
One sub has a hole in the surround.
Cones both sag about 2-3 mm. Probably stored face up for a few years.
One sub has magnets misaligned by 2 mm and the dust cap isn't glued on right.
This post is for future reference.
Just buy subs new. They don't cost that much relative to the amount of time, effort and work one puts in.

There's a gap in between the dust cap and cone, but it is glued all the way around.
I was thinking I could fill the gap with epoxy if I had a syringe. Just for aesthetics if nothing else.
