Giant capacitors...

First day of vacation this week started well with a new box from madisound. I really just wanted some of the hex cap head screws they carry but decided I'd throw in a couple small caps and resistors etc.. to save on shipping.

Well open the box and what was supposed to be 4 200uF electrolytics were actually 4 solen PP 200uF caps. Now don't get me wrong I'm not upset with the upgrade and over 10x cost but these these are huge and will not work in the small cab passive assist application I had in mind due to size alone.

I suppose I should contact mad and ask for the electrolytics, (and maybe ask for a couple small free drivers since they'd still end up ahead of where the solens cost) but wow these are the biggest PP caps I have ever seen by far...
