    Default Creating one-click BOMs

Thought someone might appreciate this. I noticed that some projects in the gallery by Darren Kuzuma have a clickable button that allows you to drop the BOM into your shopping cart. It's fun, it's fast, and it tells you the exact current cost of components.

    Here's how you do it.
    Code:
    http://www.parts-express.com/pe/basket/purchase.cfm?Multi_PartNumber=[insert part numbers here]&multi_qty=[insert part quantities here]&BaskDO=ADDPRODUCT
    Note:
*Part numbers and quantities are seperated by a comma ONLY
**No spaces between part numbers or quantities
***One incorrect entry will invalidate the entire link

    Example (Florians):
    Code:
    http://www.parts-express.com/pe/basket/purchase.cfm?Multi_PartNumber=027-422,027-430,027-429,004-3.7,004-9.1,255-022,255-264,268-348,264-850,264-1026&multi_qty=2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2,2&BaskDO=ADDPRODUCT
Here's some 1-click speaker projects for you. These do not include binding posts.

The "Clear Cart" button didn't work for me when I used the first one you posted.

LOL...I have 46 items in my cart now. The "clear cart" button doesn't work and 4 of the drivers and an inductor are on backorder!!
    Heheheheee

Sorry, maybe we can get the PE webmaster in here. Just thought it would be fun to screw around with the coding of the parts express website. It has it's uses!

I'd do more design links but it's kind of time consuming.

No no...it's ok. It seems like when you first load your cart via the one-click BOM, it does indeed populate your cart, but then you have to refresh your browser. After the browser refresh, you can empty your cart. This might be a Firefox thing for all I know. Your code does definitely work.

With it being THAT simple, I don't know why PE doesn't utilize it more. There should be one-click BOM's on every project!!

EDIT -- it would probably be very simple to load this into an MS Excel spread sheet and then just populate dedicated cells with the PE part numbers and quantities and have a macro insert the bits and pieces and spit out the URL.
