I have a handful of these and I think they are somewhat of a hybrid. I think the are based on the HDS motor but with the excursion of the XLS. (complete speculation). Mine all say HDS on the bottom, but they are always referred to as XLS models on the forums. Based on Klippel testing over at DIYMA, the 10mm of xmax is no exaggeration.
