    you really need a hobby.

Always interested in other ways to make an absolute mess with power tools!

I just made one this weekend, trying to make a variation on a waveguide center channel speaker. Lessons learned: don't confuse "quarter wavelength" and "half wavelength". Got a very nice box of plywood firewood from that one.

Get one of those super big rolls of toilet paper from a convenience store and really entertain yourself for a few seconds!
We have fun with "Give a guy a tow". 150 foot long grade 80 chain hooked to the receiver of your pick-em-up-truck, other end hooked and bolted to his frame. Get up to 70 MPH (chain unwinding at 3000 RPM) before he realizes the chain is cut in two.
Woodcraft has annual belt sander races. Seriously. Stock and modified classes. Guy brought in a "ringer" in the modifieds this year. Used a gas Weed Eater engine to power it.
Cheap fun is where you find it.
