Then why would he require a 100uF cap? That's why I thought what I did.

I don't recall how I treated the FS on the MAX, but I know I used an LCR.
It's all clear now....

Yep, LCR comp circuit. We are not publishing the schematic details until Brian is done tweaking them, but there is nothing too out of the ordinary, typical 4th order LR.

So, for a pure learning experience, why wouldn't I require a 100uF cap? Er, how does the port affect the capacitor value? Or if I even needed a cap at all?
Just curious, honestly. I wanna start learning more about the crossover design and the reason behind things.

LR4 from above refers to Linkwitz-Riley, a slope alignment of 4th order acoustic with specified Q.
LCR means component parts; coil, cap, resistor in a string.
Since the 100uF cap is on the tweeter circuit, it has no effect on the box alignment. You see- I misevaluated the purpose.

Had a pretty good listening session tonight. Also downloaded a remote app for my phone so I can control MediaMonkey and the rest of my computer simply from my phone while I'm on the couch. Didn't have to get up at all
Wolf: 100 uF would be much too small of a cap for a high pass on the woofer below tuning frequency - "...typically between 500 uF and 1500 uF" (Wolf) I've even seen over 2,000 uF used...
Interesting how that woofer's got that rounded edge on the face - I would surface mount that, looks good.
Two important notes:
1: ignore the measurements below ~150 hz
2: This is the picture you want: "Flush mounted tweeter, effects of surface mount woofer spaced 1" from tweeter flange"
EDIT: I replied too soon, I see you already choose to surface mount the woofers. Well, if you had not seen that link already, that will re-assure you that you made the right decision.
The gap around the tweeter will have more negative effect than the surface mounting of the woofers (prob. not significant though).

If that's a quote from me, it was for Passive Assisting, not highpassing. I've used 150uF caps more than once for wide-range drivers to limit bass.
