Proven DIY designs with the RS28?

I've decided I want to use the RS28 in an MTM design and I'd like to take a look at a few proven models to begin to understand how crossover design works in the context of this tweeter.

I am NOT designing the crossover myself, I just want to get a better sense of the details and design choices people make when evaluating and optimizing a crossover, especially with this tweeter.

I'm familiar with Pete's MiniByzy and the Jeff B's RS180 MTM.

We're leaning towards using the MCM 55-3870 as the mid-woofer and expect the combination should yield a very attractive and high-performing system.

Are your using the a of f version of the tweeter?

Crossover design for these is pretty straight-forward. Typically, I just use a second order electrical filter with resistor padding. Values will vary depending on the target impedance and crossover point.

Probably leaning towards the F, but definitely open to suggestion.

From your RS180 MTM thread I got the impression that they were nearly identical in the current production runs.

Also, I never realized Dayton makes a kit for the RS28/RS180.

Yeah, I actually bought the kit with cabinet and drivers and then made my own crossovers. I don't play well with OPC's*.

The two tweeters are pretty much the same except for the top octave.
