Clearwave 4TSE & 4TCC in Brazilian cherry

My first real speaker build aside from a pair of overnight sensations that sounded great, but not much to look at due to inexperience. The Clearwaves are incredible. Had them built with upgraded Clarity caps. Brazilian cherry veneer and high gloss poly. Let me know what you think! [/IMG]

Thanks! Luckily they quit building the neighborhood after my house, so no close neighbors. In fact I'm about to start an under floor infinite baffle build with 4 RE *** 18's. Then, houses great distances away should be concerned.

On your gloss finish, did you spray, brush or wipe? Did you rub out or leave as is?

Andy, I foam brushed on minwax high gloss poly countless layers with drying and sanding down by hand eavery coat. This took sooooo long. Then let it cure for a month and progressively sanded to 2000 grit and then used an randim orbital buffer to remove. Swirla and polish. If i did it again, i would look for a different finish or something. Way to time consuming when you have a job and family etc...Very good learining experience. Thanks for the compliment.

Have you had an infinite baffle sub before? You are going to love it. Yours is going to be even bigger than mine. Mine only has four 15" drivers in it.
