    Default Dayton B652 ohms

On the back of these they say 8 ohm but when checking them with meter they read 4 ohm. Are they all this way? The amp I'm using with these says 6 to 16 ohm speakers only. I haven't had a shut down so I guess I'm OK running them.

Your meter is measuring DC resistance. Your amplifier operates into the frequency dependent AC impedance.

They really run closer to 6 ohm impeadence, but the woofer's drop near 4 ohms then rise near 12 ohms, so "6 ohms" is "nominal" for them. My DTA-100 will operate them at 3/4 full volume for hours with no issues and the DTA-100 is rated for 6 ohms minimum output.
