I have sung in several barbershop quartets/choruses over the past couple of years and have been using learning tracks from Tim Waurick for a couple years.

When you mentioned nice synth and the 70s, I immediately thought of Synergy - I used to love that stuff, but thought it never made the transition from LP to CD - Spotify to the rescue, listening to "S-scape" right now.

LOL thanks ... Yeah I actually meant the whole album, but especially this song. It to me is very dynamic, and can really pin point flaws in quality speaker designs, especially at the end.

Probably not many people's taste on here, but I heard "Darkness Within" by Machine Head for the first time today on Sirius's Octane channel. The lyrics are great. It starts out with softer vocals, but really ramps up mid way through. \m/

This is my current hot list. I accidentally ran across this movie, nearly changed the channel, but then was caught off guard by the opening song which reminded me of the group Ladysmith Black Mambazo. 2+ hours later I really enjoyed this old movie and LOVED this song.
