Default OT - just for fun

Been meaning to post these for a long time. Scanned them from my father-in-law's Mad Mag over the Holidays.....I got a chuckle out of it.......I can't exactly put my finger on the company in the comic......sounds familiar...but.....

    Hilarious and so true.

Good for consumables (like gloves & paint strainers) but I don't think I'd put my giant rabbeting bit in one of their routers

Hey! I've been needing one of those Meglinating tools to demagnetize my muffler bearings! I'm printing that coupon out as we speak. THANKS!!!

Seriously though, I'm losing it here. Those guys come here every year and unload this stuff to the public at our local civic center. I used to work there, and always laughed when I saw some of the stuff they had as we helped them set it up. I DID however get one of their ridiculously huge 1.21 giggawat spot lights for free one year. It had a broken lens, and the guy said to take it home.

    Thanks for the good laugh!

For a HSS bit, their 3 pack of spiral up router bits is actually pretty decent. $12 for 3 bits, or $30 for a HSS at rockler.... I own both and the HF one lasted longer before dulling.

The 8 function electronic multi tool w/ 'gaydar'; and the 12HP 4500 watt noise and fume generator are my personal faves. Man that was funny!!! Thanks for sharing!

I love it, and laughed while reading it. I shop there often, but only with a 20% off coupon in hand.

Only thing it's missing is the constant warnings to use eye protection. Man, they put that warning on everything from garden hoses to epoxy, I guess they're expecting their stuff to explode as a matter of normal usage.

Thanks for posting that, I printed it out and gave it to my father.

It's inane, but I continue to get a chuckle from the Moron Lamp, apparently with no ad copy or descriptive text needed!
