Long Port Tube

If for some reason, the length of your port tube is longer than the dept of your cabinet, is it ok to put an elbow into the length and have it go up or down the cabinet?

Perfectly OK to elbow the port. I've seen 90 degree and 45 degree elbows in a few of the builds that have been shown on the forum. I saw one guy put the port on the outside of the box.

As John said, not a problem. Just remember to take into account the volume used by the port for the correct enclosure volume.

And remember long ports develop their own resonance....the longer the port, the higher in amplitude and lower in frequency the resonance. Unibox can add the 1st port resonance to your model.
