Hi Manu,
The DVC310-88 is capable of displacing about twice the air volume compared to the SD315-88. This comes at the cost of driver efficiency. Choosing between them would have to be based on a lot of other factors, like, how much amplification is available, or you intend to make available, and how much box volume and sophistication you are willing to provide for the drivers.
For a given box size, the 310 is capable of higher low frequency output: IF given enough amplification to do it.
Regards,
Eric

Re: 310-88 vs 315-88
If you put each one in a 3.3 cf box, you'd get F3s near 30Hz for the cheaper sub, and near 25 for the more expensive one.
The 310-88 would want a 4"d x 14" long vent, and would have no excursion issues at 250w until you got down near 20Hz.
The cheaper 315-88 wants a 4"d x 9" vent, and can only take 120w, and THEN only above 25Hz w/out bottoming out.
Oddly enough, since the 315 is a tad more efficient, (even though it can only take half the power) you'd only be giving up 1 to 1-1/2 dB in output until you get down to around 30Hz, where the 310 can output about 3dB more.
