Six pairs of speakers, dozens of drivers and cases of parts move to AZ.
I went along. Now a resident of Prescott, AZ. Looking forward to meeting AZ folks.

Hi Manard,
I hope the drier clime suits you well. Way fewer alligators there, I hear, but don't step on a Gila monster....

Maynard, I'm in northwest Phoenix. You're welcome anytime. In fact, I'm having a BBQ party on the 7th, and I'd be honored if you and your wife would attend. Let me know if you're interested.
Welcome to Arizona!

Welcome to AZ! Just in time for beautiful weather ; )
Lou, Xavier and myself are all down in Tucson, but hopefully we will have an AZ geekfest soon and all get together.

Actually, it is only a couple hours further from Prescott than from Orlando as it turns out. The new work situation will decide. I most likely will be there, the question will be whether I fly or drive and bring speakers.

I would watch out for Javelinas though...they are aggressive, fast, smell bad, and travel in groups...like an even hairier biker gang

The big challenge now will be to find time to complete the pair I am working on fora friend, and then to start something new. Other domestic chores must take priority for now. I am looking forward to the next AZ get together. I'll be there, wherever held.

Prescott? Did someone just get a new job with Intel?
HAGD,
Marc
Even though I try to tell everyone upfront, understand that I am still a Newb. I wish the status of Seasoned Veteran/Senior Member, etc. was earned with time not posts...

No. I telecommute for a global leadership consultancy - PDI Ninthhouse. Great company.
Always wanted to live in the West. Prescott is a great compromise of summer and winter temps, recreation, accessibility, etc. We live on the southwest side in the rocky foothills and pines.

Had to ask, Orion International keeps wanting me to interview with Intel out there for the tech support group. It just isn't that easy for me to uproot right now since I own my home, and would be hard to sell.
