Default Sweet vintage peewee herman boombox / portable mp3 player

Check this out. I recognized some of the speakers from parts-express. Looks legitimate! Going on eBay for $300

Here is their website too: www.hi-filuggage.com

    ok,

you posted this on 3 sections of this forum. Either your are annoyingly excited about your find, or I would venture to guess that you are the profiteer of said lunchbox.

    Chill, man.

These just look like Boomcase rip offs, just not as well built.

quite the opposite actually. i've owned a boomcase and it lasted 2 months before the amp burned out. sent it back. worked for another month and the amp went out again. he uses the dayton dta 2's, even on his larger cases that claim 300-400 watts. after the second amp burnt out i took it apart and installed a sure amplifier.

i've seen boomcases stuff. some are really cool. some are a joke with a really high price. hi-fi's stuff seems to be more concerned with sound quality while boomcase seems to attract the art/hipster community and not the AUDIO enthusiast. just my opinion though

my bad, rotech. i am not the profiteer. and you're right i did get a little post happy. i just thought it was sweet, wanted to mainly send some traffic to the website because there was a lot cooler stuff on the website than on that ebay auction.

I have looked at Boomcase and the hi fi luggage. I can't see any of these really sounding all that great. Seems like a piece you have lying around the house as a show piece or art. Some of it is actually quite nice looking but I can't see ever owning any of it. Not hi fi by any means.
