6th Annual Central KY DIY
Well here we go again, this will be our 6th get together. I'd like to get some feedback for dates in November and settle on a venue. Here's the thread from last year.

Looking to see everyone again this and hopefully some new faces. Just to throw some ideas out there to get started. The Paul Sawyier Library in Frankfort if available could be an option. Last years venue in Lawrenceburg at the senior center is available. I'm also looking for a venue possibility in Lexington as I-75 and I-64 converge there and its really the best located. Lets hear some thoughts and we'll get the ball rolling. Hope to see you there.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
I can check with Lyndon Town hall (it's in Louisville) for a suite.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
November 17th works best for me. The Senior Center has the best parking/load-in. The Library room is excellent but less accessable.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
Last years venue was nice, had plenty of room and didn't sound to bad there. I'm game for any Saturday in Nov.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
I can likely swing this one....
Tell me when and where. Lex is considerably further south but I've gone there, Lawrenceburg, Frankfort, and Louisville would work too.
I don't work Saturdays, but I may not sleep much Friday night.
I'm game!

Bumping this up to see who might attend and if there is enough interest. If we wind up with a handful I'll just host at my house and cookout for anyone who wants to show up. Jinjuku, do you have any info on the venue in Louisville if thats where peeps want to attend?
C'mon guys post up! It's been five years let's keep this thing going!

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
I THINK I could make this one. This year life seems to be busier than last for some reason, but I should be able to make it. May even be able to talk Zach into tagging along. We both have some intriguing designs that we're working on, but neither will be ready for the time frame we are speaking of. My Poor man's strads are built (and they are beautiful, if I may say so myself! lol), but we haven't got the DSP dialed in just yet. Not to mention, would be a pain to transport these along with the 3 amps and DSP to the event, not to mention, set up time. Zach is also building a PMS variant with some very nice drivers, but I'll let him share the details, if he so chooses. I've really gotten into Carver amps (all recapped and some modded) since our last meet and have aquired quite the collection. I'd like to bring a couple along to get everyone's opinion as to how they stack up to some of today's models. Middle to end of the month would be my preference and Louisville would be awesome and a shorter trip for me (and several others, I think.)

Which Carvers are you modding? I had a M400 cube and would like to have one of those again.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
I needed the bump. I just saw this.
Nov. 17th or Dec. 1st...(I know, that's not November) either weekend would be fine. I should have time during either weekend to offer assistance.

I have 2 x TFM-15, 1-TFM-25, 1-TFM-35, all recapped and converted to blue LED's on the meters, 2-M-1.0t's (both MKII option2 with blue LED meters), these are the bad boys. You can check out the mods here.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
I'll come. Nov. 17 is OK. Where?

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
OK. Now we're making some progress. The 17th seems to be agreeable to most, so we'll go ahead and set the date. The 17th it is!
As for venue, we can certainly use the senior center here in Lawrenceburg again. Louisville may be an option, I'm also looking for a venue in Lexington. I will try to finalize arrangements at the first of next week.
I put a tentative list of attendees in my first post. If anyone wants to mention what they intend to bring that would be fine. As usual there will be no judging, although I'll provide some feedback forms. Music will be designers choice and about 10 minutes.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
I'd also not be able to T-giving weekend.
The 17th is my preference, but Dec 1 would also work.
I actually need to know so I can setup details, travel and times to use a personal Day for Friday before.
Louisville would also be closer for me, but I feel that any of the former venues will be alright, preference for the Recreation Center from last year.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
I will have my Stances there for sure, and might bring down the Vijon for a re-visit.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
I might be able to make it, depending on how far it ends up being. I'd have to driver down and back on Saturday.

Re: 6th Annual Central KY DIY
I will try to be there on the 17th with the Neutrinos, whatever the venue happens to be.
I probably won't have anything else ready by then but I am working on a few things. (Aren't we all?)

I wonder if I can fit a pair of Duntech Sovereigns in my truck. Nah.
