Tough placement issue, feedback awaits

We've a got a client who has been doing a movie theater Sunday service with a mobile rig for 5 years now. They are tired of the weekly setup/tear down and have asked permission to permanently install some of the gear. They're running L/R small arrays of JBL VRX 928's(4 per side) raised up on towers off to the front sides of the stage. The only place allowed by the theater for permanent install will be behind the screen. Big problem, because now the performers will be 10-15 feet in front the arrays. Recipe for feedback....any ideas?

Is there some reason the theater operators won't allow other placement options? What does the theater use for sound when the mobile client doesn't set his rig up for performances?

Standard theater set-up......LCR clusters behind the screen. Theaters NEVER let outside churches actually tap into their system for good reason, so additional speakers and amps are necessary. Really, in it's widest setting, the screen is so wide that behind it is the only way to, plus they want it hidden. We are thinkg of mounting the arrays very high and keeping the angle such that the majority to the throw flys well over the stage in front and catches the rear half of the theater and using some smaller front fills on the outside corners of the stage. Only real problem ought to be feedback at VLF with the subs directly behind the stage now. I think we can manage.

A CBT array will be more immune to feedback.
