Hi TechTalk Community!


We want to offer our community the opportunity to earn PE Gift Certificates for writing about topics that you love. I will be posting topics on this forum along with submission deadlines. To enter into the Content Creation program you will submit a written, visual, video, or combination response to the Thread Post. All content must be 100% original with no copywrite infringements. After the deadline closes we will review the submissions. We will pick the best content for each topic.


The winners will receive $200 in PE Gift Certificates as well as credit for the content. The content will be used in our resource center, email, social media, and other platforms. We will also select content from other submissions as a contributor. Each contributor's content that is selected will receive $50 in PE Gift Certificates as well as credit for their contribution.


Here is a list of the first topics that we are posting: They have a submission deadline of March 15, 2022

1. How to find the best placement for a subwoofer in a home theater?
2. What size subwoofer do I need for a home theater?
3. What are the different types of loudspeakers, what are their components, and what makes them work (ie. tweeters, subwoofers, passive radiators, midranges, etc)
4. How to select your first speaker kit and what does it take to build a speaker kit

Hi Ronnie,

I may be interested in writing on some of these topics, but wanted to understand this better. Do you have a suggested length for a posting? If twenty people submit a posting for a topic, one of them will be selected for publication and $200 in PE certificates, other high-quality submissions are eligible for publication and $50 in PE certificates, is that correct?

Hi Mark,

The suggested length for the posting is between 600 - 1,000 words. Your second question is correct, one entry will be selected which will win the $200 in PE gift cards. Any other article that content is used will get the $50 in PE gift cards. I hope that clarifies!

I missed this post, is this topic still live and are you still seeking content? If so, I'd like to write something about speaker kits, even if there's no voucher involved.

And if you're still seeking material, how do we submit please?

It looks like they planned on posting unique threads for each topic/deadline for people to submit their responses into, but OP/mod hasn't posted anything afterward despite missing the first deadline....so maybe I'm misunderstanding?

I hope they didn't expect/want several people writing 1000word responses to four different topics all inside this single thread for 5weeks?
