For Sale - Dayton/Parts Express's famous BR-1 speaker kit, with Dennis Murphy (murphyblaster productions) crossover mods. This crossover is supposed to fix some interference issues between the drivers in the crossover region in the original xover. Currently the kit is $195 at PE, and the Murphyblaster xover mod parts are an extra $50 or so, all included. I do have the grills too. These use the original dayton tweeters, better than the newer ones. Some small nicks in the cabinets as pictured, but overall in pretty good shape. I started on these several years ago, but got involved in other projects, time for someone else to cleanup the xovers and make them sing! They sound OK, but not as good as I thought they should, possibly I wired the xovers incorrectly, really have no idea, but no time to work on them these days. No international shipping please.
