The 28a is aluminum dome, the 28f is fabric. I had and liked both. People were divided on them. 28f fabric had more "shimmer" and liveliness which some thought was distortion and some thought was detail retrieval. Some thought 28a was dull sounding.
Going for the 28f and try these kits as designed.
