I have a JBL Sub 550P that is in good cosmetic shape with a fully functional driver, but with an amplifier that has a hum and emits a minor thump when turning on. I have to assume this is an indication that the amplifier has an issue and will stop functioning at some point. For now, it still works (as of the last I used it a month or so ago).
So I'm selling the sub locally for cheap, essentially for the driver and cabinet, although as mentioned, the amp does still currently function. It seems this would be more worthwhile to the DIY crowd who would be willing to replace the amp, or who may want to repurpose the cabinet.
Let's say $40, obo. Local pickup near 15044 (Pittsburgh area)
