  • FS: Wyred4Sound STP-SE Preamp

    SOLD

    PRICE REDUCTION:
I've lowered my asking price to $850 plus shipping costs.

Up for sale is my Wyred4Sound STP-Special Edition preamp. I bought it new from W4S in September, 2017 and it has performed flawlessly. I've attached a photo of the front panel. That is not a photo of my unit, however. My preamp is silver like in the photo but the three push-buttons on the front panel are black, not white. It has both single-ended and balanced inputs and outputs. To learn more you can go to:

    https://wyred4sound.com/products/pre-amps/stp-se.

Mine is the base unit and does not have either Stage 1 or Stage 2 upgrades. Mine includes the standard, small plastic remote that controls everything. The list price in 2017 was $1999.00 and still is. I'm asking $850 plus shipping costs via UPS or FedEx in the CONUS from zip code 43026. Shipping weight will be a bit more 22 pounds and I have the original, complete shipping carton.

    Thanks for looking,
    Paul

I've all but given up on speaker building as well as woodworking in general because there would no longer be anyone here to help stop bleeding or to call 911 if I have an accident, especially on the table saw. So, I've decided to spend my money on upgrading my audio components so I can enjoy the music as much as possible while I'm still able to. Remember tomorrow is not a promise. I'm still designing TLs for others, mind you.

In May of last year I replaced my Emotiva CD player with a Bryston BCD-3. Just a couple of weeks ago I bought a Bryston BP-17 Cubed preamp. Both of the Bryston components were discounted demo units with the full 20-year warranty.. You didn't think I was getting out of audio altogether did you?
