As described, never got around to using this highly regarded subwoofer, trying to clear out some drivers I'll probably never use. $120 shipped to the lower 48.

Possible 19-20 years, but i think they were discontinued around 2003-2004 when MK2 came out.

I'm afraid Ben's right (per normal).
I still have my 1st PE Cat (2000) and it's in there as 295-400 (1st in the -400 series). It does NOT say "NEW", but the 275-070 "Silky" does!
Its T/S parms (Qts=0.41, Fs=16, Vas=9.9cf) lets it hit nearly 30Hz in 3cf, sealed and stuffed.
My next Cat (2001) has the "NEW" Titanic 1202 (MKII, 295-402). The "original" TITANIC is gone. In both cats the 12" sold for $150 (of course, then you were also buying a 5-yr warranty). My best guess is it was offered in 1999 and 2000, so 22-23 yrs old. Giving YOU the benefit of the doubt, that puts it at 22 yrs old. Still, the surround is NOT foam rubber. Pretty sure you could still move it w/a heavier discount (or a personal 5-yr guaranty).
Don't feel too bad. I bought a pair of Peerless 10"ers around then (831727) which I've yet to use (but I will) !

I didn't remember it being in more than 2 of my catalogs, and the first ones at that, and I remember it was selling frequently used among members here in the 2004-2005 range after it had gone disco.
I think my first PE catalog was 1999, but I'd have to go look to see in the old storage tote. Yes- I kept them for posterity and specs. The only one I go through regularly is the last one for parts values and such once in a while, but I'm getting accustomed to knowing pretty close the values associated.
It was a good woofer... Just remember to run it SEALED! About 2.7-3ft^3 should do it...
