Sunflower LCR w/Pony sub build for sale - LPU socal only

Up for sale due to upcoming move. Build thread here:

1) Located in south Orange County, CA. Local'ish pickup only, will not ship. Will drive a reasonable distance to meet halfway. No guarantees, but I *may* be able to help deliver enroute to NM in September.
2) My first build. Workmanship/finish a little rough but boxes are straight. In the hands of a woodworking/refinishing guru these should clean up nicely.
3) I stripped a t-nut when reinstalling a woofer (removed only to take out some stuffing while tuning to taste). Easy fix but my tools are already in storage at the movers.
4) I do enjoy these speakers IMMENSELY, but I am moving from an open loft to a new room that is smaller and enclosed.
5) Set is Sunflower LCR and modified Pony/Turtle/Burro sub

Asking $400 for the LCR and sub.

Oh my goodness, what a gift to someone! I'm building a center and surrounds for someone with future plans to complete this setup eventually ... wrong coast!

Have you posted on DIYAudio.com? I would also try Audio Science Review - that's a discriminating audience that could appreciate these pretty discriminating speakers!

I'm intrigued, but I not only have too many speakers already, but also a curious toddler, and have been tasked with emptying out the garage. :-(

taloyd - I did consider it, but being a long time member at both DIY and ASR myself, did not post due to the complete lack of objective test data on these (unless someone knows of some).


Anyhow, looks like these may be available at Goodwill soon (and probably at different locations) ,,,,,
