Hi - like johnnyrichards, i loaded up on the black Bravox / Dahlquist 6.5" subwoofers in December at more than $17 each. I have 8 for sale, brand new in the bravox case. I prefer to keep it to one or two sales or 4-8, and i would consider offers for pairs, but I'm not shipping all these individually. I originally got these for a project for my brother's house, but I know they're in high demand, so with the current sale, if I get the right price I'll scrap that project and make him something better (please note, the right price will be about what I paid... much less than that point, I'll keep them and do the Bravox-based project). FUNNY - i got a quote of $240 shipped and that was "only $5 more than you paid". Then a message that If I did not respond you would just break up the batch, and sell them to other interested parties... :rolleyes:

thanks, very classy. if you checked, there's one where i corrected that to $220, which was $17+5 x8 drivers +40 for shipping, which is still right (it's $216, but i have to repack them and buy a box). you did email first and wanted the whole case, which reduces hassle for me, so i tried to let you decide first.

plenty of people ebay PE drivers for twice what they're worth, and i'm not one of those people. i don't think a couple bucks extra for something NLA is excessive, especially because i took a chance to buy something untested at the time. anyhow, i consider this discussion of the PM exchange done.

regardless, i'm not angry that you lost interest when the RS's got cheap. once i saw that sale, i just bought the RS shielded series for my brother, and am now looking to offset a lower cost, so i can take less for the bravox's. it's just simple economics. and since lots of people loaded up on the RS drivers, i'm realistic enough to drop the price from "what i paid plus $5 each" to just what i paid, because the others who wanted a few now have ads for "WTB RS 180" or whatever, and the demand for these is down. was i stupid not to take the offers to buy half the case? probably, but hindsight is pretty close to 20/20. i'm sure someone will still want these at some point, and i know lou just did a nice 3-way with them, so they'll eventually go to a good home.

Not cool. Please do not make these kinds of posts unless the seller is committing actual fraud/scam, etc. Otherwise, keep it between you and them. This is just bad etiquette - especially the last bit which is just disingenuous.

If someone gets a good deal on something and they can turn around and make money on it, why not? If they list it too expensive, no one will buy it. But if it's in demand, the seller can charge what they think they can get. I see nothing wrong with that.

Now if it was sold to a friend, well yeh, that might be different.
