I know this may be a longshot.
I will be having a wedding rehearsal get together on June 1st a Wed. from approx 4 p.m. till approx 10 p.m. The setting is in a backyard. I need to rent an amplifier and two speakers. I am not looking for high SPL, rather, smooth gear to play my music for the family to enjoy while we eat backyard BBQ. Gear can be dropped off at mutually convenient times, but it would need to be packed up after the GTG on the night of the 1st.
Does anyone in the Pasadena/Alhambra area want to rent me some gear for the night? I just need someone to rent me an amp, maybe a pre amp, two speakers and the wiring. I intend to run the amp with a variety of Minidisc decks.
Just to make it clear, I am not looking for a DJ, just some gear. If anyone is interested, please let me know the price and and general idea of what type of gear you can provide.
