capt, did you try those 8955's in vehicle? I'm thinking about picking up the other pair for my Ranger (though I really shouldn't spend the monies.....:p)

I would LIKE to have, but they were too large to fit in the baffles that I constructed for a different set of 8" drivers previously ;) I'm sure they woul dbe quite formidable in a car audio install.

isnt 830491 an hds model, wasnt the xls more of a subwoofer?

I think many considered that woofer an XLS.....I think....though it was labeled an HDS....

Hmm, I have a PDF page including it, but can't attach it. You can email me at smokey at worldlynx dot net and I can send it to you though Joey. It shows HDS models and lists this at the bottom with a big XLS label ;)
