Omnimic Subwoofer delay/time alignment

Please can someone tell the procedure to time align my sub to the mains with Omnimic measurement system.

Because of the large wavelength of low frequencies, the room interaction will often destroy any sense of alignment here. If all you have available to you is a phase switch on the sub, simply set it for what provides you the best in-room response at your listening location. If you have adjustable delays, you can do the same with a few more fiddly steps to determine the best delay value.

Ideally, the next step would be to take an average of several measurements at your listening locations and apply some EQ to get a better in-room response. Omnimic is a great tool to assist with this, see the help file How To section under "Adjust an Equalizer".

While on the topic of delays, for HT the Omnimic is a great tool to determine the necessary delays for your surround speakers. See the How to section of the help file, under "Align two speakers in "time of arrival" at listening position".

Does the DVD offer any assistance for the subwoofer alignment ?
I have used the Omnimic to time align all the speakers. Just need to align the subs now.

REW has this capability to align subs but would rather do all adjustments on one program. Can you please explain the ways that can be done, or if the help files list it, which I should read.

With aligning and setting levels for the back surrounds pointing the mic to the front doesn't seem right?
