      Hmm. I have other speakers in the room and i was playing the sweeps at a decent volume. Wonder if the other speakers were contributing to the ringing?

        OK so I redid the measurements and low and behold I think this is what it is supposed to look like. I don't think I did anything different so I don't know why I am getting different results. Is this OK?

          The snapshot labled "left speaker impulse response" looks correct. The frequency response generated from it should be reasonably accurate. Maybe it was a USB thing.
