  • Omnimic sensitivity to "DC-pressure" measuring inside a box?

I plan to measure decay times inside a box with different damping schemes. I will be careful not to overload the microphone with sound in the audiable range but how sensistive is it to subsonic pressures for things like moving the driver ?

An option would be to drill two holes so that the box vents pressure when mounting or removing the driver and other handling.

The mic is sensitve to closing lids

Anyone knows how to increase the time window in the gated response?

You click anywhere along the impulse response to open the gate to that amount of time.
