  • How do I see my saved averages

    Probably a dumb question .
(I am experienced with the free REW, but not Omni...)

So how do I display my measurements?

    I made a measurement thusly:
    played the short sine track2
    clicked NEW AVERAGE
    then MORE AVERAGES several times
    everything looked copascetic..

then FILE > SAVE AVG CURVE

    repeat as above,
starting with CLEAR AVERAGE for each new measurement (the previous measurement goes away)

    ================
now I want to see them again.....
    ADDED CURVES > ADD
    Select all my .frd files

Then they all appear in a list at the bottom of the Added Curves menu
but nothing is displayed - only the realtime measurement of me breathing (and cursing the software gods

    What am i missing???
REW automatically organizes them into thumbnails, even without saving. Click on one an it goes full screen.
Or view them all at once in "Overlays"
THere's nothing like that in omni?

I've measured many things I cannot hear; and heard things I cannot measure...

wow almost 50 views and not even a hint ?

i checked the frds and they look like the expected columnar data of frequencies and amplitude.
Omni simply does not display them...
Can someone at least confirm if Omni should be able to do this?

      Hello Jeff,

Please send me an email. Attach one of the offending FRD files with your email and I will check quickly to see if something else might be going on with them.

        Thanks.

But for no apparent reason it is all working as expected today.
I work in software for a living so I know how it goes:
"What did you change or do differently?"
        "nothing..."
        "Oh, really?"

I really wish I could report some silly little thing I did wrong to avoid.
But I'm virtually 100% sure nothing was done differently.

        Really!

        Thanks anyway!
