    Omnimic has features for measuring frequency response, room reverberation, and Bass Decay, all of which are handy tools for setting up your room.

    I've been told that pink noise is easier on your speakers, and for frequencies that a sub might handle, I've had very similar results to using sine sweeps. I've seen the difference about 2kHz, if memory serves (and it might not -- but it's somewhere in the upper mids).
