Re: Any tutorial videos on using Omnimic?
Thanks a lot for the offer sir! I've had a few offers for help from a few of the kind people on this board, and I appreciate it a lot, believe me. Once I get a bit further in my understanding of this all, I will take up the offer...
...but I don't want to be that kid in school that when the teacher says after explaining 20 minutes of something, "are there any questions on how to do this?" the kid says "yes" The teacher says "what don't you understand?"..... and the kid says "All of it!"
I have a lot of respect for guys like you who learned and figured out a lot of the theory behind what makes speakers/sound do, and work the way they do. You figured this stuff on your own so to speak. I have read a bit on lots of topics, and have some understanding of the basics, but I probably won't become as well versed as many of you are.
I'm a guy who loves to design and build cabinets, but who has not been able to yet fully 'get' the crossover thing. I feel that being able to take measurements and design a crossover from these measurements is part of being a complete speaker designer in my opinion. I have no problem with building other people's designs, I do it a whole lot and get tons of enjoyment from it. I would just like to "get it" myself soon. Time is a problem, when I'm working, that's pretty much all I can do, my students really take it out of me!
Well, thanks again for the offer, and for being understanding of me/us who are slow of understanding!
