Thought I'd ping y'all for this question.
If you had 4 full range 2-way speakers (QSC K12's I believe) and wanted to mount them on a 24 foot long truss (above the stage), how would you arrange the speaker for the best overall coverage. This will be for a large school dance. The subwoofers will be on the floor, center stage.
Some say evenly spread out, which would be 8' center to center per speaker. But wouldn't this pose some comb filtering problems?
Others suggest, 2 per side, splayed and pointed downward.
Still another suggestion is 1 on each end and 2 at the center, splayed.
