  • Which mixer board?

Thanks to those who replied to my earlier post concerning mics.

It has come to our attention that we need a bigger & better mixing board. I am too inexperienced to readily choose one. I do know that we need to have approx. 20 xlr inputs, inputs for cd and inputs for tape deck. And USB for computer recording.
We want quality and clarity though we do not have access to Fort Knox for funding. But we have the funds to do better than low grade.

    Please help.:o

    Re: Which mixer board?

One of the best analog mixing boards available at any price is the A&H Mixwiz 3 16/2, it's a good step up in quality from a Mackie ProFx, Behringer Xenyx, etc. If you need more than that you might consider looking at a digital board like the Behringer X32.

Thanks Paul. I was looking at A&H products. They seem to have good reviews. In looking at their website, it seems we will need the zed 428 model as we need more than 16 mono inputs. We are currently at 15 so looking for some future proofing in that area.

I will look into the Behringer.
