Deltalite-2 2512 crossover ?

How high can a 2512 be crossover ,can at play to 2k ,2.5 k ?of not what is the highest point ? Spec,s say 48 to 4k but looks to be high .thank you your help.

I wouldn't take it higher than 2.5kHz or the off-axis will be too far down, and that's in an electric bass cab. For PA I wouldn't go higher than 2kHz.

I got some crossed to Selenium D210s at 1.6khz.. work pretty good.

Do you have a particular crossover config in mind? I have these things out doing some experimenting with some other drivers and could try out a setup with my DCX.. maybe even take a pic of it with REW.

I was playing with it today and response drops off fast above 3.2khz so that would be the upper limit of what is possible...ignoring polar response of course.

Here are the cabs on top of my Mackie powered subs, I ordered custom full coverage honeycomb grills for them from Reliable Hardware I think it was.


And here is a measurement of the 2512 in these 2 cu/ft enclosures and with no processing. The resonant hump at 2khz isn't as prominent as in the Eminence graph as you can see so it's not an issue with a 12db passive crossover. This response has 1/3 octave smoothing I should mention.
