  • Filling Voids

What is the best way to fill voids in plywood before finishing? I have built many cabinets before with MDF or better grade plywood, but the last cabinet I made was with budget 3/4 plywood. It has a couple of voids that need to be filled before I can finish the cabinet. Any ideas?

Are you talking about something like bondo for the car?

Yes, it's sandable and has proven to be quite durable in my experience.

For most uses, especially under veneer, it seems easier and cheaper to use Durham's rock hard water Putty, though I can't imagine it's as durable as bondo out in the open.
